AI Addendum
Dubsado offers features that use machine learning models to assist with tasks including but not limited to drafting contracts, generating forms, suggesting copy, and creating other content ("AI features"). These features are designed as drafting and suggestion tools to assist your work. They do not make automated decisions on your behalf or on behalf of your clients. AI features will be subject to these terms upon release. By using AI features, you agree to the following.
a. AI output is a draft, not a finished product
Content generated by AI features is provided to help you get started. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving any AI-generated content before using it in your business, sharing it with clients, or relying on it in any way. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, current, lawful, or fit for any particular purpose.
b. Not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice
AI-generated contracts, agreements, forms, policies, or similar documents do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Dubsado is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. You are responsible for ensuring any document you use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction and is appropriate for your specific situation. We strongly recommend you have any legal or financial document reviewed by a qualified, licensed professional before use.
c. Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of any information you input into AI features
reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before use
ensuring AI-generated content complies with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in your jurisdiction
any decisions, actions, contracts, or business outcomes resulting from your use of AI-generated content
disclosing the use of AI to clients or third parties where required by law, contract, or industry rule
ensuring that any personal data of minors submitted through AI features is done only with appropriate parental or guardian consent as required by applicable law
d. Limitation of liability for AI output
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dubsado, its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers are not liable for any losses, damages, claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from or related to AI features or AI-generated content, including but not limited to: errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in generated content, content that fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, content that does not reflect your intent, misinterpretation of inputs, decisions made in reliance on AI output, or any disputes with clients or third parties involving AI-generated content. This applies to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, and punitive damages, regardless of the legal theory.
e. Third-party AI providers
Some AI features are powered in whole or in part by third-party AI service providers. Your use of these features may be subject to the applicable third-party terms in addition to ours. We are not responsible for the performance, availability, accuracy, or output of third-party AI services. Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice before adding a new sub-processor that processes personal data.

f. Inputs and data
Using AI features may involve transmitting your inputs to AI service providers for processing. We handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent and warrant that you have the rights, consents, and authority to submit any client information, third-party content, personal data, or other material you input into AI features, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right. Processing of personal data through AI features is conducted on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing and improving the Service. Third-party AI providers acting on our behalf do so as data processors under agreements that require them to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where personal data is transferred to third-party processors in other countries, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law, including where required, standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms. g. No training on your data
We do not use the content you submit through AI features to train Dubsado's AI models, and we contract with third-party AI providers under terms that prohibit the same. **Content you submit to AI features is processed for the purpose of delivering the feature. Account and project data stored within your Dubsado account; such as client names, contact details, and event information is retained as part of your account in accordance with our Privacy Policy regardless of your use of AI features. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
h. Prohibited uses
You may not use AI features to generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, infringing on intellectual property or privacy rights, harmful, or otherwise in violation of our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to monitor use, restrict access, and remove content that violates these terms.
i. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dubsado and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of AI features or AI-generated content, including any claim brought by your clients or third parties.
j. Changes and availability
We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue any AI feature at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to AI features.
